The Genomic Medicine Inside Sales Account Manager is responsible for Sells or renews the company’s products, systems and/or services via telephone or electronic means to customers in assigned territory, industry or accounts. May generate prospective customers through cold calling and may qualify and follow up with sales leads. Focus on lead qualification and lead prospecting. Sales can be made through multichannel, inbound and/or outbound sales activities.

This position reports to the Director,and is part of the Genomic Medicine USCAN Commercial team in the US. This role will be fully remote.

What you will do:

  • Design and execute account specific business plans including customer goals, strategic initiatives, opportunity development, relationship mapping, and competitive threats and lead account team through sales cycle, from opportunity discovery through deal closure
  • Identify new business opportunities within the zone and work with field team to design and execute strategies to position Cytiva products in new accounts
  • Take ownership of your own pipeline and be accountable for sales targets, proactively reviewing conversion rates, bottlenecks, and speed to close
  • Develop proposals, generate quotes, negotiate with customer stakeholders, and finalize product specs
  • Ensure timely delivery of high-quality products, coordinating with Customer Service to update customers of any changes to the delivery timeline or order process

Who you are:

  • Bachelor’s degree in science or the equivalent
  • Exceptional telephone prospecting skills with problem-solving mindset and organized follow-up
  • Self-starter, comfortable setting and working toward ambitious goals and working independently and as part of a team.
  • Verbal and written communicationskills that can both uncover customer needs and confidently convey high value product quality
  • Located on the East Coast

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

  • Position Location: Remote
  • Ability to travel for internal and customer meetings/training as needed, 25%

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Direct sales within Life Sciences or adjacent field
  • Funnel Management in Salesforce (or similar CRM platforms)

The salary range for this role is $90,000 – $ 100,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
