Job summary

HALO Precision Diagnostics is seeking a Patient Navigator to guide patients through hereditary cancer genetic testing. You will perform venipuncture, educate patients, coordinate scheduling, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure a high-quality, compassionate patient experience.

You will serve as the primary contact for patients and partner sites, maintaining accurate records in EMR/EHR and supporting insurance verification as needed.

Qualifications

• Nationally certified phlebotomist with venipuncture skills.
• Minimum of 2 years clinical experience.
• Current BLS certification.
• Experience with insurance verification and prior authorizations.

Responsibilities

• Guide patients through the hereditary cancer genetic testing process from start to finish with clear, compassionate education.
• Build strong relationships with partner site staff and clinical teams; support daily workflow integration.
• Own patient cases, scheduling, follow-ups, and proactive problem solving to ensure timely testing and results.
• Provide venipuncture and specimen handling, ensuring proper labeling, transport, and compliance with protocols.
• Maintain accurate documentation in EMR/EHR and ensure HIPAA compliance.
