Job summary

Pearce Services in the telecom sector seeks a skilled Generator Technician to service and repair commercial generators on cell phone towers across the region. The role suits independent, self-starters who are willing to travel.

You will diagnose problems, install components, perform regular maintenance, and respond to alarms 24/7 when on-call. Candidates should have 2+ years generator maintenance experience and knowledge of electrical systems, with OSHA safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of experience with generator maintenance
• Thorough knowledge of generator installations, maintenance, and repair of generators
• Basic knowledge of pertinent FCC/FAA/EPA/OSHA regulations

Responsibilities

• Maintaining generators, diagnosing and repairing problems, installing and replacing components or entire systems
• Conducting performance checks and regular maintenance on generators to ensure proper readiness
• Install fuel and water supply lines, pumps, electrical wiring and controls, and other components
• Be responsible for responding promptly to alarms; on-call 24/7 if necessary
• Attend safety and training meetings and follow safety practices
