Job summary

Pearce Services, a technology-enabled asset management provider, seeks a Generator Technician to service and repair commercial generators on cell tower sites across the region. Regional travel required for assignments.

Candidates should have 2+ years of generator maintenance and experience with electrical maintenance software/hardware, and be willing to travel. Must comply with OSHA safety standards and be prepared for on-call duties.

Qualifications

Two+ years' generator maintenance experience.
At least 1 year in electrical maintenance-related software/hardware.
Knowledge of generator installations, maintenance and repair.
Familiarity with FCC/FAA/EPA/OSHA regulations.

Responsibilities

Maintaining generators, diagnosing and repairing problems, installing components or entire systems, and performing maintenance or upgrades on out-of-season equipment.
Conducting performance checks and regular maintenance on generators to ensure readiness, reading blueprints or design specs to install or repair.
Install fuel and water supply lines, pumps, electrical wiring and controls, and other components.
Be on call 24/7 to respond to Power/Generator alarms and handle on-call duties as needed.
Observe safety hazards and follow safety practices during installation and maintenance.
