We are seeking a Generator Technician to maintain standby generators and control systems. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, capable of troubleshooting, repairing, and performing routine engine maintenance. Organization and inventory management skills are essential.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform routine maintenance and reactive support on diesel generator sets and control systems.
2. Conduct daily inspections of the generator plant.
3. Undertake upgrades, expansions, and installations of SCADA and Woodward controls with third-party vendors.
4. Perform fault finding and repairs on electrical and control systems.
5. Ensure software is up-to-date through updates and downloads.
6. Coordinate mechanical and electrical maintenance schedules.
7. Manage generator spares inventory, including stock levels, ordering, and liaising with suppliers.
8. Maintain records of operation hours and maintenance activities.
9. Work beyond official hours as needed and be willing to be on rotational on-call status.
10. Other duties as assigned.

Basic Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 2 to 5 years of related experience.
• Journeyman level certification or equivalent.

Additional Requirements:

• Minimum of 8 years generator maintenance experience, including 3 years in a lead or supervisory role.
• Ability to troubleshoot engines, fuel systems, controls, and generators.
• Experience with high amperage and high voltage generators.
• Knowledge of contracted maintenance services.
• Active Secret clearance or higher.
• Willingness to work on-call, rotational shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays.

This position is located overseas and contingent upon contract award.
