Job summary

Generac is expanding its Dealer Talent Network in Gaithersburg, MD, seeking technicians to support home standby generator installations and ongoing maintenance. You will perform preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs, and collaborate with a small crew or work independently on site.

Key requirements include basic electrical knowledge, experience with air- or liquid-cooled Generac generators, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Experience with air- or liquid-cooled generators.
• Basic electrical knowledge.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on generators.
• Diagnostics and repairs of mechanical and electrical systems on generators.
• Service/repair generators, change air filters, change oil, check battery levels, check spark plugs, etc.
• Involved in installation hook-up of home standby generators
• Work independently or with a small crew
