MetroPower is seeking a Generator Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair commercial and industrial generator systems. You will diagnose issues, estimate repairs, manage parts, and keep precise service records, while prioritizing customer satisfaction and safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree preferred.
• At least 5 years’ experience in electrical service (commercial/residential).
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass pre-employment screening.
• Generator installation experience is a plus; training provided.
• I-9 documents to establish work eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair generator systems using available resources.
• Perform preventive maintenance to ensure reliability and performance.
• Identify parts, procure materials, and complete repairs efficiently.
• Prepare detailed service reports and documentation for each job.
• Develop strong customer relationships and resolve issues promptly.
• Uphold safety as a top company priority and ensure PPE needs are met.
