Job summary

Generator Systems LLC is seeking a Generator Field Service Technician to diagnose, repair and maintain diesel and natural gas power systems. You’ll work from detailed manuals and schematics, documenting service findings and customer communications with professionalism.

This role rewards careful, methodical work over speed, with strong emphasis on safety, quality, and long-term reliability. Generac certification is a plus, and opportunities for growth are available.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of power generation experience.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Comfort working from technical documentation and procedures.
• Careful, detail-oriented approach to diagnostics and recordkeeping.
• Professional, straightforward communication style.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance, inspections, and repairs on diesel and natural gas generators.
• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals with care and accuracy.
• Complete service documentation thoroughly and on time.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with customers regarding equipment status and service findings.
• Follow established safety procedures, company policies, and industry best practices consistently.
