Job summary

Sudden Service, INC provides exclusive worldwide distribution of genuine Taylor OEM parts and forklift service. We are seeking a service technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain generator sets and related equipment on customer sites across the region.

You will plan travel, deliver on-site repairs, and ensure proper documentation and safety compliance. Qualifications include high school diploma or GED, experience with diesel/gas engines, and the ability to read electrical diagrams.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or GED required.
• Electrical knowledge helpful; diesel/gas engines service experience preferred.
• Ability to read diagrams and wiring, install/repair electrical components.

Responsibilities

• Consult with Service Manager to plan work and travel schedule.
• Diagnose malfunctions; repair/replace parts; install assemblies.
• Provide tools/parts and arrange facilities for on-site repairs.
• Inspect/test machines at delivery, intervals, and after repairs.
• Complete work orders and necessary paperwork in a timely manner.
• Stay on-call 24/7 as needed; travel to customer sites.
