Job summary

Sudden Service, INC (SSI) provides exclusive distribution and service for Taylor OEM parts and forklift equipment. The role involves planning travel with the Service Manager, delivering tools and parts, and performing on-site repairs and preventative maintenance on generator sets.

Candidates should have strong technical problem-solving, own tools, and the ability to work with customers in person, including occasional overnight stays and on-call rotations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must hold a valid driver’s license and be insurable.
• DOT certifiable; 21+ years old for DOT certification.

Responsibilities

• Consults with Service Manager to plan work and travel.
• Provides tools and parts and arranges for on-site repair.
• Documents work details for proper billing and records.
• Performs preventive maintenance on generator sets and gensets.
• Maintains service truck and professional image.
• Completes all job-related paperwork promptly.
• Assists in ongoing technician training and skill development.
• All other duties as assigned.
