Job summary

Waukesha Pearce Industries, LLC is seeking a Generator Tech Class A in Richland Hills, TX. You will service generators and transfer switches, from oil changes to major repairs, while keeping the service truck and tools in good order.

You’ll perform load testing, warranty work, and startups per manufacturer specs. You must have at least 3 years of generator experience or a comparable certification, plus a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• Must have 3 years generator experience or equivalent manufacturer certification.
• High School diploma or GED required; trades training preferred.
• Knowledge of testing and load generators/engines; generator theory.
• Forklift operation knowledge and safe handling required.
• Experience with diesel and gaseous engines and fuel systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, repairs, load testing, warranty repairs, and startups.
• Attend service schools and training programs offered by WPI.
• Complete service reports daily and maintain records.
• Perform weekly truck inspections and ensure readiness.
• Fill out JSA forms for every job; follow safety and policy.
• Take on additional duties as assigned by management.
