Job summary

Power Plus, a leading US generator rental division, seeks a mechanically inclined technician with a Class A license to service and maintain our rental generators. The role blends shop work with occasional customer-site visits, requiring professional interaction and accurate inspection documentation.

Qualifications

• Must possess mechanical and electrical aptitude.
• Diesel generator experience a plus.
• Technical schooling in automotive or transportation fields, commercial, residential electric and or like military experience would be a plus.
• Thorough understanding of mechanical and electrical theory and application.
• Class A license required.

Responsibilities

• Fuel, operate and maintain generators.
• Assist in the installation of rental generators at various sites, including telecommunication facilities, existing structures, and construction trailers, for example.
• Order parts for repairs as needed.
• Basic maintenance and troubleshooting of generator systems, including but not limited to performing engine oil and coolant services, servicing and priming fuel system.
