Job summary

Generator Supercenter, Inc. is seeking an apprentice Electrician to assist and learn all electrical operations and ensure the quality, safety, and compliance of our installations in Wheeling, IL.

This full-time role supports the supervising electrician on ATS and generator installations and offers opportunities to lead and mentor as you gain experience. The position requires a high school diploma or GED and 2+ years of electrical experience, with strong reading of wiring diagrams and knowledge

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
2+ years of professional electrical experience (generator installation a plus).
Strong knowledge of AC/DC electrical systems and reading wiring diagrams.

Responsibilities

Assist the supervising electrician on installation of ATS and Generators.
Review sold job folders for electrical scope and code alignment.
Troubleshoot electrical systems and trace wiring issues during installation and service.
