Job summary
Generator Supercenter, Inc. is hiring an Apprentice / Electrical Helper to assist electricians and installation crews with generator installations and maintenance. You will gain hands-on training while following safety procedures and supervisor instructions.
You will load materials, prepare job sites, and support electrical and generator installation tasks across varied projects. This entry-level role emphasizes learning, safety, and teamwork on construction sites.
Qualifications
- Mechanical aptitude to safely use hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment.
- Ability to perform physically demanding work including standing, kneeling, digging and lifting.
- Outdoor work in varying weather and construction sites.
Responsibilities
- Assist Electricians and Installers with generator installations and related electrical work.
- Load and unload generators, transfer switches, and other jobsite materials.
- Prepare work areas, run extension cords, and maintain site safety and cleanliness.
- Assist with electrical installation tasks under supervision.
- Contribute to generator installation, pads, foundations, and equipment placement.
- Help with trenching and site preparation for electrical conduits.
