Job summary

You will coordinate start-ups and provide first-time installations, ensure safe operation, and diagnose complex issues in the field.

You will write service reports, track time, and maintain vehicles and tools. A valid CDL and the ability to work overtime or weekends are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.
• 3-5 years of mechanical experience with engines/generators.
• Experience diagnosing electrical and hydraulic systems.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Knowledge of safety rules and warranty basics.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and repair generators, UPS, switchgear as part of Power System Service.
• Diagnose customer electrical and mechanical problems to ensure safe system operation.
• Complete service reports and time logs with accurate details.
• Communicate with customers to meet timelines and quality expectations.
• Maintain company vehicle and tools in good working order; meet DOT standards.
