Job summary

Aerotek is hiring an Assembly Technician in Ocala, FL to work on generator-related assembly tasks. You will perform mechanical assembly, pipe fitting, and basic electrical work, using hand and power tools, reading blueprints, and following work instructions in a fast-paced production setting. This contract-to-hire position requires attention to detail, safety compliance, and teamwork.

Shifts run 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday with potential Friday overtime; pay ranges from $20

Qualifications

• Five years of generator experience or training in electrical/mechanical fields.
• Experience with mechanical assembly in industrial/manufacturing settings.
• Ability to read blueprints and work instructions.
• Proficiency with basic hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Prepare tanks and enclosures for generator assembly per specs and blueprints.
• Set up work areas and equipment for efficient mechanical assembly.
• Assemble and install tubing and piping for generator systems.
• Perform wiring to basic electrical codes and safety standards.
• Read and interpret specifications and drawings to complete tasks accurately.
