Aerotek is hiring an Assembly Technician in Ocala, FL to work on generator-related assembly tasks. You will perform mechanical assembly, pipe fitting, and basic electrical work, using hand and power tools, reading blueprints, and following work instructions in a fast-paced production setting. This contract-to-hire position requires attention to detail, safety compliance, and teamwork.
Shifts run 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday with potential Friday overtime; pay ranges from $20
Shift: 6am-4:30pm Mon-Thurs (occasional Friday overtime)

This role focuses on preparing tanks and enclosures for generator assembly by performing mechanical assembly, pipe fitting, and basic electrical work. You will use a variety of hand and power tools, interpret blueprints and work instructions, and ensure all work meets quality, safety, and electrical code standards in a fast-paced production environment.

This position is primarily outdoors in a yard environment, where you will be exposed to sun, heat, cold, and other weather elements. The standard schedule is first shift, Monday through Thursday, from 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with some additional hours potentially required depending on production needs. The work involves regular use of hand tools, power tools, hydraulic cutters and crimpers, forklifts, and rigging equipment. You will work in a hands‑on, industrial setting that emphasizes safety, teamwork, and reliable production output.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ocala, FL.
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
