Job summary

Travelers is seeking a Software Engineer II to join the Enterprise AI Platforms team, delivering agent harnesses and platform capabilities for generative AI applications across the enterprise.

You will embed with partner teams, design scalable solutions, and contribute production-grade software using Python, TypeScript, AWS/Azure, Kubernetes, and modern CI/CD practices in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on software development delivering AI solutions at scale.
• Proficiency in Python, with experience in TypeScript for AI integrations.
• Hands-on experience building and evaluating generative AI apps, including orchestration and guardrails.
• Experience with agentic tooling and runtimes like AWS AgentCore.
• Cloud experience across AWS/Azure, Kubernetes, IaC (Terraform/CDK), and CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver production-grade harness capabilities for AI apps.
• Drive architecture and system design across multiple teams.
• Mentor engineers and contribute reusable patterns across projects.
• Align teams to enterprise standards in source control, testing, and CI/CD.
• Improve test automation and overall quality of harness platforms.
