Job summary

Travelers is seeking a Software Engineer I within the Enterprise AI Platforms team in the Atlanta area to deliver agent harness capabilities and platform features across the enterprise. You will work on orchestration, tool integration, and guardrails while collaborating with architects, product owners, and consumer teams.

The role requires a strong foundation in Python, with AI integration experience, hands-on cloud and container orchestration (AWS/Azure, Kubernetes) and CI/CD tooling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• 3+ years hands-on software development experience with production deployments.
• Proficiency in Python, and exposure to TypeScript for AI integration work.
• Experience building generative AI or agentic applications and familiarity with agent harness components.

Responsibilities

• Build and operate agent harness capabilities for enterprise teams.
• Integrate agents with tools, APIs, and systems; ensure reliability under load.
• Advance test automation and meet non-functional requirements (secure, observable, scalable).
• Own assets end-to-end including currency and production readiness; document work.
