Eliassen Group seeks an AI/ML Engineer to design, build, and productionize advanced ML and generative AI solutions for semiconductor manufacturing and Customer Quality initiatives. The role emphasizes Python and PyTorch, Azure deployment, and collaboration with engineering teams.

This contract-to-hire opportunity is on-site three days per week in Irvine, CA or Portland, OR, Austin, TX or Woburn, MA with a W2 arrangement and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required in a relevant field
• PhD preferred or equivalent exceptional AI/ML experience
• Experience designing production-grade AI/ML systems is required

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and deploy production-grade AI/ML models for semiconductor manufacturing and Customer Quality use cases.
• Develop solutions using Python and PyTorch, including generative AI, RAG, and agentic workflows.
• Build and maintain scalable AI pipelines in Azure environments.
• Collaborate with semiconductor engineering stakeholders to translate domain problems into AI solutions.
• Participate in architecture discussions and document technical decisions.
• Own hands-on coding deliverables and participate in code reviews and MLOps practices.
• Prepare for Python technical evaluations during the interview process.
