Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking an AI/ML Engineer to join the Data, Analytics & AI team. You will develop AI/ML solutions for the Cordant product suite and design scalable data pipelines to support predictive maintenance and operational optimization.

You will implement Generative AI and Agentic AI applications, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure security and governance across deployments. A Bachelor’s in CS or STEM and 2+ years of experience are required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or STEM majors.
2+ years of experience developing AI, machine learning, analytics, or data-driven solutions.
Hands-on experience with Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, vector databases, cloud platforms (Azure/AWS).
Knowledge of MLOps, software engineering, APIs, microservices, and Agile.
Proficiency in Python, SQL, and AI/ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, Scikit-learn).

Responsibilities

Develop AI, ML, and analytics solutions for Cordant products.
Design scalable data pipelines and AI workflows across data types.
Develop Generative AI and Agentic AI applications, including copilots and intelligent search.
Implement RAG, agent orchestration, prompt engineering, and LLM evaluation frameworks.
Deploy, monitor, and optimize AI/ML solutions using MLOps and LLMOps.
Collaborate with product teams, domain experts, and software engineers.
Ensure solutions are secure, scalable, and aligned with engineering standards.
