Job summary

State Street Corporation seeks an experienced Lead AI Engineer to drive enterprise generative AI and agentic AI initiatives within AML technology. You will architect, develop, and deploy scalable AI platforms, integrating Databricks data pipelines, cloud-native services on AWS, and guardrails for secure, reliable production systems.

The role requires hands-on coding, deep cloud and data expertise, and the ability to translate complex tech into measurable business value while mentoring engineers

Qualifications

• Five or more years of technology experience with generative AI or AI platform engineering.
• Experience delivering enterprise applications from concept through production.
• Strong programming skills in Python and building APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of enterprise AI solutions from concept to production.
• Design AI applications with LLMs, RAG, and orchestration.
• Build scalable data ingestion, transformation, and retrieval pipelines in Databricks.
