Job summary

AgCountry Farm Credit Services is seeking an AI Engineer Intern to join a team that turns cutting-edge AI concepts into production-ready solutions. You’ll partner with engineers to learn modern AI engineering practices, from sandbox prototyping to deployment and monitoring, contributing to real projects and building reliable, scalable AI systems.

The role blends hands-on experimentation with practical engineering while collaborating with governance teams to ensure ethical and secure AI

Qualifications

Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or MIS, Electrical Engineering or similar degree.
Minimum GPA 3.0.
Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
Available for a 12-week internship during the summer.

Responsibilities

Experiment with Generative AI models and platforms to explore AI agent automation.
Design and implement prompt engineering strategies, including retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).
Evaluate Generative AI applications for performance, cost and ethics, including bias detection.
Collaborate with business units, product management, and technical teams to translate requirements into AI solutions.
Identify opportunities to optimize requirements through automation and assist in implementing AI-driven solutions.
Use appropriate tools and best practices to ensure reliability of AI-driven solutions.
