Job summary

NewYork-Presbyterian/The Allen Hospital is seeking a Laboratory Technologist - Generalist for a full-time day shift in Upper Manhattan. You will perform routine and complex tests across Blood Bank, Hematology, Coagulation, Urinalysis, Chemistry and Microbiology, while ensuring quality control and timely documentation.

You must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology, New York State licensure, and ASCP certification is preferred, with a sign-on bonus offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology (or equivalent)
• New York State licensure as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist
• ASCP certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and complex tests across Blood Bank, Hematology, Coagulation, Urinalysis, Chemistry and Microbiology.
• Conduct quality control procedures and document results; follow-up on out-of-range results.
• Work a full-time day shift (8:00 am–4:00 pm) with alternate weekends and rotating holidays.
