A General Warehouse Worker is responsible for moving product throughout the distribution center; receives and unloads product and non-product items using a forklift or other material handling equipment. Moves customer orders and stages them in the loading dock for delivery routes.

Bottom line... You'll be loading, unloading, and staging BEER & SPIRITS in our distribution center!!

Here's more of what you will do:

• Loads, unloads and moves product using appropriate equipment; performs inventory and delivery documentation accurately.
• Performs proper product rotation per FIFO or leadership instructions.
• Keeps equipment and work area clean and organized.
• Counts pallets and verifies inventory accuracy.
• Checks and verifies loads for completeness and correctness.
• Loads customer orders onto delivery trucks.
• Handles damaged products, returns, and repacks as needed.

This list provides an overview of primary tasks; other duties may be assigned as necessary.

• 18 Years of Age or Older
• Ability to Read and Understand English

• Forklift and other equipment experience/certification

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
• Repetitive lifting and placement of products.
• Bending, stooping, squatting, and other physical movements.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and noisy environments.
• Driving may be required.
• Ability to operate equipment and use a computer for communication and documentation.
• Good communication skills and visual acuity.
• Compliance with safety policies and punctuality are essential.
