Job description

General Warehouse Worker - Flexible Part-Time

This role involves working 20 hours per week across four 5-hour shifts, scheduled between 6 AM and 3:30 PM or 4:30 PM and 3 AM. It is a paid weekly position with opportunities for growth.

Your responsibilities include unwrapping, sorting, stacking, and labeling products while adhering to safety standards and company policies.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Pack, seal, and label materials or pallets for storage or shipping
• Manually load and unload products on and off pallets, skids, or lifting devices
• Wrap pallets using a wrap machine
• Report damages or issues with products to supervisors and follow instructions to resolve them

Additional Duties

• Operate manual pallet jack equipment
• Clean and organize the warehouse at the end of each shift

Minimum Requirements (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities)

• Basic math skills
• Ability to understand instructions in the country's official language or as specified by Lineage Logistics
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20°F/-25°C in cold storage or up to 100°F/37°C in dry storage while wearing PPE and freezer gear
• Must be able to lift at least 40 lbs./18 kg, possibly more depending on the facility
• Flexible work schedule, including weekends if necessary
• Comfortable with varying noise levels, which can sometimes be loud
