Responsibilities

• Coordinate all aspects of care for the assigned surgery service line.
• Schedule patient appointments, encounters, testing, and procedures as needed.
• Schedule surgeries in the main OR and Ambulatory Surgery Centers (ASCs).
• Explain charges to patients and coordinate with billing as needed.
• Serve as a liaison between patients, physicians, nursing units, and UCLA departments.
• Prepare reports on scheduling activity (daily/weekly/monthly).
