Job summary

Skilled Wound Care, a premier national physician group, is hiring General Surgeons in Washington, D.C. to lead wound care initiatives across skilled nursing facilities. This no-call, Monday–Friday surgeon role offers clinical autonomy outside the hospital and the chance to focus on patients and outcomes.

You will perform bedside debridement, wound evaluations, and advanced dressing protocols while documenting care with our streamlined software. Competitive compensation with bonuses is available.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Unrestricted medical license in the practicing state.
• DEA license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Open background with no prohibitions for an active license.
• No prior wound-care experience required; training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Perform wound care procedures and bedside debridement.
• Evaluate and treat chronic and complex wounds.
• Use advanced dressings and wound protocols.
• Collaborate with care teams in skilled nursing facilities.
