Skilled Wound Care in Washington, D.C. is hiring Trauma Surgeons to lead wound care initiatives in skilled nursing facilities and practice as wound care physicians, with a true no-call, Monday-Friday schedule.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Unrestricted medical license in the state of practice (or eligibility).
• DEA license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Open background; no prior wound care experience required; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Surgical and sharp debridement and other bedside procedures.
• Evaluation and treatment of chronic, non-healing and complex wounds, including pressure injuries and post-surgical wounds.
• Advanced dressings and specialized wound protocols.
• Collaborative care in skilled nursing facilities and the post-acute setting, where you follow patients through healing.
