Job summary

RK Industries is seeking a General Superintendent – Piping in Cheyenne, WY to lead field execution on major mechanical and plumbing projects. You will guide labor planning, scheduling, prefabrication, and productivity while developing Superintendents, Foremen, and craft professionals to advance the field team's capabilities.

You will influence execution strategy, safety culture, and quality standards, partnering with management to solve issues before they impact construction.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive mechanical, plumbing, or industrial construction experience.
• Plumbing and/or piping experience.
• Proven success leading complex projects, multiple crews, and field leaders.
• Deep expertise in labor planning, scheduling, productivity, quality, cost, and project execution.
• Strong judgment and the ability to make decisions in fast-moving environments.
• A track record of developing people and building accountable teams.

Responsibilities

• Own field execution from preconstruction and mobilization through commissioning and turnover.
• Turn project strategy into action across labor, schedule, materials, equipment, and subcontractors.
• Lead and develop Superintendents, Foremen, and high-performing craft teams.
• Partner with Project Management and Operations to solve problems before they impact the field.
• Leverage prefabrication, technology, and planning to improve productivity and execution.
• Set the standard for safety, quality, accountability, and craftsmanship.
• Build trusted relationships with customers, GCs, inspectors, vendors, and trade partners.
