Are you an experienced General Superintendent with a strong background in water and wastewater treatment plant construction? Or a Senior Superintendent ready to take the next step into a General Superintendent position?

We are currently partnering with one of the largest and most respected General Contractors in the US, with an exceptional backlog of major water infrastructure projects and a reputation for delivering some of the most complex treatment facilities in North America.

The Opportunity

This is an outstanding opportunity to join an industry-leading contractor and play a key role in the delivery of major water and wastewater treatment facilities across Southern California.

Projects include:

• Wastewater Treatment Plants (WWTP)
• Water Treatment Plants (WTP)
• Pump Stations & Lift Stations
• Heavy Civil & Utility Infrastructure Projects

The Role

As a General Superintendent, you will oversee field operations across major projects, providing leadership to project teams and ensuring successful project delivery from groundbreaking through commissioning.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Leading Superintendents, Assistant Superintendents, and field staff
• Managing day-to-day field operations across large-scale projects
• Driving project schedules and critical milestones
• Ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and productivity
• Coordinating subcontractors, self-perform crews, and trade partners
• Working closely with Project Executives, Project Managers, and Owners
• Leading field planning and site logistics efforts
• Resolving complex construction challenges
• Supporting project pursuits and operational excellence initiatives
• Mentoring and developing the next generation of field leaders

What We're Looking For

We are interested in speaking with both established General Superintendents and Senior Superintendents looking to take the next step in their career.

• 10+ years of construction experience
• Proven experience delivering water and wastewater treatment facilities
• Experience managing large field teams and subcontractors
• Background working for a General Contractor or major self-perform contractor
• Strong understanding of treatment plant construction and utility infrastructure
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Experience on projects valued from $50M to $500M+
• Ability to lead complex, fast-paced construction programs
