Job Title: General Store Cashier / Stocker

Reports to: General Manager

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers, providing excellent guest service.
• Inform customers about products and store promotions.
• Price goods accurately and apply price stickers.
• Scan or key in merchandise prices.
• Calculate total prices and handle transactions.
• Participate in developing window and counter displays under supervision.
• Maintain organized and clean stock rooms and store areas.
• Engage professionally and friendly with customers.
• Encourage sales and promote the Memphis experience.
• Be knowledgeable about sister venues such as Blues City Café and Club 152 on Beale.
• Check inventory upon receiving merchandise, invoice, and confirm shipments.
• Handle cash and credit transactions honestly and professionally.
• Control and check outgoing merchandise.
• Reconcile payments with sales and prepare deposits.
• Maintain cleanliness of checkout areas and stock rooms.
• Participate in inventory counts and other duties as assigned.
• Prioritize workload and stay focused in busy environments.
• Be versatile and participate in other activities as needed.
