Job Title: General Store Cashier / Stocker
Reports to: General Manager
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers.
- Inform customers about products and services.
- Set and identify prices of goods, apply price stickers, and scan merchandise.
- Calculate total prices and process transactions accurately.
- Participate in developing window and counter displays under supervision.
- Keep stock rooms organized and clean.
- Interact professionally and friendly with customers.
- Promote sales and enhance the Memphis experience.
- Be knowledgeable about sister venues such as Blues City Café, Club 152 on Beale, etc.
- Check inventory, invoice, and confirm shipment upon receiving merchandise.
- Handle cash and credit transactions honestly and professionally.
- Control outgoing merchandise and reconcile payments with sales.
- Prepare deposits, close the register, and manage the float.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in checkout areas, stock rooms, and the store.
- Participate in inventory counts and other duties as assigned.
- Prioritize workload, stay calm, and adapt to various activities as needed.

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to speak, hear, see, and distinguish colors.
- Frequent walking and standing, with occasional extended distances.
- Lift and carry up to 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally.
- Use manual and motor skills frequently, including reaching, kneeling, and stooping.
