Job Title: General Store Cashier / Stocker

Reports to: General Manager

Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist customers.
• Inform customers about products and services.
• Set and identify prices of goods, apply price stickers, and scan merchandise.
• Calculate total prices and process transactions accurately.
• Participate in developing window and counter displays under supervision.
• Keep stock rooms organized and clean.
• Interact professionally and friendly with customers.
• Promote sales and enhance the Memphis experience.
• Be knowledgeable about sister venues such as Blues City Café, Club 152 on Beale, etc.
• Check inventory, invoice, and confirm shipment upon receiving merchandise.
• Handle cash and credit transactions honestly and professionally.
• Control outgoing merchandise and reconcile payments with sales.
• Prepare deposits, close the register, and manage the float.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in checkout areas, stock rooms, and the store.
• Participate in inventory counts and other duties as assigned.
• Prioritize workload, stay calm, and adapt to various activities as needed.
