Job summary

Pep Boys in Murfreesboro, TN is seeking full-time General Service Technicians to join Team Mavis. The position includes paid training, weekly pay, and opportunities for career growth within the nation's largest automotive service organization.

You'll perform tire mounting, balancing, oil changes, fluid checks, and basic maintenance while upholding safety and quality standards. A $800 new-hire bonus is offered to new teammates.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Be legally authorized to work in the United States
• Be reliable, punctual, and willing to learn
• Be comfortable working in a fast-paced hands-on automotive environment
• Have a strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and quality service
• Previous automotive experience is a plus, but not required. Paid training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Dismounting, mounting, rotating, and balancing tires
• Performing flat tire repairs
• Completing oil and filter changes
• Checking and topping off vehicle fluids
• Performing basic vehicle maintenance and inspections
• Identifying visible tire and maintenance concerns
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Following established safety and service procedures
• Helping ensure quality service and timely completion of customer vehicles
