Job summary

Pep Boys, now part of the Mavis Tire family, seeks full-time General Service Technicians for our Memphis, TN centers. You’ll perform essential tire services and maintenance, working alongside skilled automotive professionals while building hands-on skills and advancing in a large nationwide network.

Qualifications

• Be 18 years or older.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced automotive environment.
• Strong commitment to safety, teamwork and quality service.
• Previous automotive experience is a plus, but not required; paid training provided.

Responsibilities

• Dismounting, mounting, rotating, and balancing tires
• Performing flat tire repairs
• Completing oil and filter changes
• Checking and topping off vehicle fluids
• Performing basic vehicle maintenance and inspections
• Identifying visible tire and maintenance concerns
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Following established safety and service procedures
• Helping ensure quality service and timely completion of customer vehicles
