Job summary

Pep Boys is now part of the Mavis Tire family, and we’re hiring General Service Technicians for our Bartlett, TN location. This full-time role offers paid training, competitive weekly pay, and weekly incentive compensation.

All employees receive opportunities for career growth within a nationwide network of automotive centers. As a General Service Technician, you’ll perform tire services, oil changes, and basic vehicle maintenance in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced automotive environment.
• Strong commitment to safety, teamwork and quality service.

Responsibilities

• Dismounting, mounting, rotating, and balancing tires.
• Performing flat tire repairs.
• Oil and filter changes.
• Check and top off vehicle fluids.
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance and inspections.
• Identify visible tire and maintenance concerns.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Follow established safety and service procedures.
• Assist in timely completion of customer vehicles.
