Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a skilled maintenance professional to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain gasoline-related equipment, HVAC systems, and related mechanical devices. You will perform preventive maintenance, test detectors, and coordinate with vendors.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED, 3–5 years of maintenance experience, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-priority environment. Tools and safety practices are central to daily tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in the maintenance field.
• Manual dexterity to operate equipment and work in confined spaces.
• Ability to use hand/electric cart, power tools, and hand tools.
• Ability to crouch and/or crawl and use a ladder.
• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple, changing priorities.
• Ability to work independently in a high-priority, confidential, demanding business environment.
• Ability to perform the physical requirements of the job, with reasonable accommodations considered.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, clean, and maintain gasoline-related equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and test leak detectors and product lines.
• Contact service vendors for repair materials.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment in compliance with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and reprogram cash registers, money order machines, and safes.
• Document and communicate actions, irregularities, and continuing needs among work teams.
• Install, repair, and service heating, ventilating, and air conditioning systems.
• Complete preventive maintenance schedules and restore or repair faulty HVAC systems and associated equipment.
• Repair and replace doors, plumbing, and tiles; perform painting.
• Recommend changes and new HVAC installations.
• Maintain gas pumps, including nozzles, hoses, splashguards, filters, and display boards.
• Diagnose, repair, and maintain walk-in coolers, novelty freezers, refrigerators, and fountains.
• Accomplish related tasks as needed.
