Aerotek is seeking General Production Workers for a full-time, onsite role in the Philadelphia, PA area. You will work on the production line, feed materials into machines, and maintain the pace of production. Lifting up to 50 lbs and some forklift use are involved. This is a contract-to-hire position based in Philadelphia, PA 19153.

Seeking General Production Workers located in the Philadelphia, PA area for a FULL TIME job opportunity. The general production workers will be responsible for working in a prodution/ manufacturing environmnets, on the production line, gathering and feeding the material into the machines to be processed, and keeping the pace of the production line. Other requirements include lifting and dumping the material into the machines to be mixed, general upeep of the production area, and using a forklift at times to move the material to and from the production lines. Prior experience working in a manufacturing/ production environments, some forklift experience, and being comfortable lifting up to 50lbs on a consistent basis would be a qualified candidates for this role.
Prepare customer orders as the final quality control step before shipment, ensuring all products meet established standards.
Check labels and product codes carefully to confirm accuracy and compliance with customer and production requirements.
Count products and verify quantities against order specifications to ensure complete and correct shipments.
Apply stickers and other required markings to packaging in accordance with production and shipping guidelines.
Load products onto pallets in the correct direction and configuration to support safe transport and efficient handling.
Inspect pallets to ensure they are clean, properly organized, and ready for shipment.
Lift bags of cocoa beans weighing up to 50 pounds on and off production lines throughout the 12-hour shift.
Handle cocoa butter and other ingredients in the butter melting area, lifting materials up to 35 pounds as needed.
Operate new lifting technology to grip, raise, and dump bags of ingredients into machines, especially at the dumping station.
Work consistently in the same area for the full 12-hour shift with limited rotation, maintaining focus and productivity.
Follow food manufacturing and packaging procedures to maintain product quality and food safety standards.
Perform general production, packing, and assembly line tasks as needed to support overall production goals.
Monitor machinery and production lines while working nearby high-temperature equipment, adhering to safety protocols.
Maintain a clean and organized work area within the food manufacturing facility.
Collaborate with team members and follow instructions to meet production targets in a fast-paced, production-driven environment.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Philadelphia, PA 19153.
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.
