Job summary

Aerotek is hiring a General Production Worker for its Wilkes-Barre, PA facility to support daily operations in a frozen food manufacturing environment. The role handles material movement, packing support, palletizing, and sanitation while upholding safety and food safety standards.

Shift options include 1st and 2nd, with an onsite, contract assignment. Benefits and weekly pay are available, contingent on eligibility and role requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform general labor duties throughout the facility as assigned to support production and warehouse operations.
• Move raw materials, packaging supplies, and finished products between work areas in a safe and efficient manner.
• Stack, sort, organize, and palletize products and materials to ensure orderly storage and shipment.
• Assist with loading and unloading trucks, materials, and deliveries to support shipping and receiving activities.
• Maintain clean and organized production, warehouse, and storage areas to support safety and efficiency.
• Remove trash, scrap materials, and other waste from work areas and dispose of them according to company procedures.
• Assist with sanitation and cleaning of equipment, workstations, and facility areas to meet food safety and cleanliness standards.
• Support production teams by supplying materials, staging products, and removing completed pallets from work areas.
• Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment as trained and in accordance with safety guidelines.
• Follow all company safety policies, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), OSHA regulations, and food safety procedures at all times.
• Work safely and effectively in refrigerated and freezer environments as required by production and warehouse needs.
• Report damaged products, safety concerns, and equipment issues promptly to supervisors or appropriate personnel.
• Assist with inventory movement, storage, and general facility support duties to maintain accurate stock and efficient operations.
• Support team members and other departments as needed to help meet daily and weekly operational goals.
• Adapt to changing priorities and perform other duties as assigned to support overall facility performance.

Job Description

The General Production Worker supports daily operations in a frozen food manufacturing facility by performing a wide range of general labor tasks. Shift and Pay

1st Shift: Monday to Thursday 5 AM-3 PM, $16/h

2nd Shift: Monday to Thursday 3 PM-1 AM $16/h

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Wilkes-Barre, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
