Tyson Foods in Claremont, NC is hiring entry-level general labor workers across multiple departments, including stacker, food assembly, hand wrapper and sanitation. You’ll be on your feet, lift 15–50 pounds, and work 8–12 hour shifts with overtime as needed.

Job Details:ATTN Prior Tyson Workers:Candidates who have previously worked for Tyson will have a minimum rehire waiting period of 180 days and are limited to 3 times of employment.General Job Description:This position is responsible for entry level, non-skilled general labor while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. Applicants will be considered for any general labor type opening in any department that may include, but not limited to, stacker/supplier, food assembly, hand wrapper, and sanitation.Tasks :Other tasks include standing, walking, stretching, bending, climbing, pushing, pulling, kneeling, squatting and reaching.Candidate must be willing to lift, push and carry in many areas on the production floor (weight depends on area ranging from 15 – 50 pounds).Candidates must be available to work overtime and weekends as required to meet production deadlines; must have the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment; must be willing to be cross trained and moved to other areas as needed and must be willing and able to stand for 8 – 12 hours per day on hard floors in extreme hot or cold environments ranging from 50 to 120 degrees.The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodationRequirements:Prior experience is not required.Must have effective communication skills and be able to work in a team environment.Relocation Assistance Eligible:NoWork Shift:ALL SHIFTS (United States of America)Certain roles at Tyson require background checks.
