Job summary

Cooper Farms in Van Wert, Ohio, is seeking 2nd shift General Production team members for their Van Wert Cooked Meats Plant. The position starts at $18.50 per hour with potential growth, offering monthly and year-end profit-sharing bonuses based on company performance.

Shift hours are Monday through Friday from 2:30pm-11:00pm or 3:30pm-12:00am. Training is provided for this entry-level role, and the team focuses on safe, efficient production and accurate paperwork completion.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Ability to be on feet for prolonged periods of time.
• Must have the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and move up to 100 pounds.
• Must be able to work in a cool, damp environment.

Responsibilities

• Operating and maintaining knowledge of the departmental equipment and operations.
• Ensuring that all assigned procedures are carried out in an efficient manner in accordance with production/quality/safety guideline.
• Working with others to ensure all areas are up to standard and reporting any abnormalities.
• Accurately completing all required paperwork.

Cooper Farms is currently seeking 2nd shift General Production team members to join our team in Van Wert.

SHIFT HOURS:

Monday through Friday 2:30pm-11:00pm or 3:30pm-12:00am

STARTING HOURLY RATE:

$18.50 with the potential of increasing to $18.25 after 90 days.

ADDITIONAL PAY:

Monthly and year-end profit-sharing bonuses (dependent upon company performance)

All training will be provided for this entry level position. Job functions include:
