Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited medical school and completion of residency and/or fellowship in area of specialty.
• MD or DO - licensed by the state licensure board.
• Board Certified/Eligible in the area of specialty.

Responsibilities

• Performs history and physical examination of all patients seen.
• Provide cost-effective, high-quality care based on best practice evidenced based medicine.
• Make best efforts to adhere to standardized orders and practice guidelines that have been approved by the medical staff.
• Demonstrates competency in assessment, range of treatment, knowledge of growth and development and communication appropriate to the age of the patient treated.
• Provides regular, timely, and appropriate communication with referring physicians, patients and their families.
• Coordinates patient care and makes referrals to physicians, nurses, psychologists, nutritionists, et cetera, as needed.
