Job summary

St. Luke's University Health Network in Pennsylvania seeks a dedicated physician to provide medical services in general care settings across practice and hospital environments.

The physician will perform history and physical examinations, order tests, initiate treatment, and contribute to quality and patient satisfaction initiatives. Qualified candidates will have an MD/DO from an accredited medical school, state licensure, and board eligibility/certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited medical school with residency and/or fellowship in the area of specialty.
• MD or DO licensed by the state medical board.
• Board Certified/Eligible in the area of specialty.

Responsibilities

• Performs history and physical examinations of all patients.
• Provide cost-effective, high-quality care based on evidence-based medicine.
• Initiates treatment via prescriptions, diagnostic tests, exams and procedures.
• Reviews lab results and plans actions based on results.
• Maintains confidentiality and adheres to safety and reporting requirements.
• Collaborates with nurses, physicians, and outside agencies to coordinate patient care.
