Job summary

S&L Contracting is seeking Road Striping & Pavement Marking Crew Members to join our Kentucky team. The role involves applying lane lines, crosswalks and symbols, setting up traffic control, and operating striping equipment in various weather conditions.

CDL is a plus; valid driver's license and ability to work nights/weekends are required. This is a full-time position with growth opportunities within Road Safety Services network.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License with clean driving record.
• Class A or B CDL is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Prior experience in road construction, striping, or traffic control preferred but not required.
• Must be able to work nights, weekends, and meet shifting schedule demands.

Responsibilities

• Road Striping & Pavement Marking: Assist in applying road markings including lane lines, crosswalks, and symbols using specialized striping equipment.
• Traffic Control: Set up and maintain traffic control devices during road construction and maintenance projects.
• Equipment Operation & Maintenance: Operate CDL-required vehicles, including trucks and striping machines; perform basic inspections.
• Physical Labor: Perform manual tasks including lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, outdoors in various weather.
• Safety Compliance: Follow all company and job-site safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment.

What You'll Do

• Road Striping & Pavement Marking Assist in applying road markings including lane lines, crosswalks, and symbols using specialized striping equipment.


• Traffic Control Set up and maintain traffic control devices during road construction and maintenance projects.


• Equipment Operation & Maintenance Operate CDL-required vehicles, including trucks and striping machines. Perform basic equipment inspections and maintenance.
