Meijer Inc. is seeking a store leadership professional to manage staffing, training and daily operations in our Ohio location. You will drive sales, monitor shrink, mentor teams, and uphold Meijer standards while delivering exceptional customer service and a positive store image.

The role emphasizes mentoring, coaching and career development, with a focus on safety, attendance and efficient in-store communication to meet service and sales goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2–3 years of related retail experience.
• One year of management experience.
• Rotational assignments in store areas; customer service and product flow experience helpful.
• Clear direction and communication to team members.
• Ability to resolve conflicts and address root causes.
• Capability to manage multiple tasks and analyze financial information.

Responsibilities

• Staffing, selection and hiring to meet staffing needs.
• Mentor and coach team to exceed customer service and sales goals.
• Promote career development and succession planning.
• Document disciplinary actions and discharge recommendations.
• Responsible for P&L, sales performance and shrink control.
• Ensure team training and Meijer standards are met.
• Spend most time in-store communicating with customers and team members.
• Promote a safe work environment and maintain reliable attendance.
