Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Age 18 or older
• Previous retail experience preferred
• Lead and hold others accountable
• Communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners
• Work independently and as part of a team
• Manage workload and prioritize tasks independently
• Capable to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and team members
• Effective communication skills

Responsibilities

• Consistently deliver guest experience commitments to create an Easy, Inspiring and Friendly guest experience
• Ensure every team member understands and is trained to deliver Target’s guest experience commitments
• Lead and observe team performance, provide feedback and recognize great guest moments
• Oversee daily/weekly workload to meet department and store sales goals
• Assign daily tasks to hourly team members and align with business priorities
• Help establish clear goals and hold team members accountable to expectations
• Assist with pick, pack and ship fulfillment when applicable
• Maintain product availability, accurate pricing and signage on the sales floor
• Support guest services such as back-up cashier and digital fulfillment processes
• Lead safety and compliance across the department
