Job summary

Meijer is seeking an entry-level Stocking Clerk to ensure shelves are stocked with a variety of food and grocery products. You will move products from pallets to shelves, pull backstock, and dispose of packing material in back-room areas while collaborating with leadership to keep areas ready for guests.

This role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and the ability to work overnight shifts to help prepare the store for the day ahead.

Qualifications

• No degree required; willingness to learn and adapt.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Comfort with physical tasks and standing for long periods.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing repetitive motions.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with food and grocery products.
• Move product from pallets or carts to shelves accurately.

What You’ll Do

As a Stocking Clerk, you play a critical role in keeping our store running smoothly. Your workensures shelves are fully stocked for our customers to provide an exceptional shopping experience.

You’ll:

Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products

Move product from pallets or carts to the correct shelf locations efficiently and accurately

Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in designated back‑room areas

Work closely with leadership to ensure assigned areas are completed on time

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers when needed

Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead

Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly

What You Bring
