Job summary

Meijer is seeking an entry-level Stocking Clerk to ensure shelves are stocked and store operations run smoothly. You will handle stocking, backroom duties, and customer interactions with a friendly attitude.

The role emphasizes teamwork, efficiency, and physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 lbs, with overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day.

Qualifications

• Comfortable learning and using basic technology.
• Ability to follow processes and procedures in an organized, efficient way.
• Maintain calm and productivity in a fast-paced environment.
• Enjoy working as part of a team and supporting shared goals.
• Experience with pallet jacks or forklifts is a plus.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products.
• Move product from pallets or carts to correct shelf locations efficiently and accurately.
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in designated backroom areas.
• Work closely with leadership to ensure area is completed on time.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers as needed.
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
