Job summary

Meijer is seeking a Stocking Clerk to join our store team. This entry level role focuses on keeping shelves stocked, delivering friendly customer service, and supporting merchandising tasks.

You’ll work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead, learn basic technology, and collaborate with leadership to complete tasks on time. Eligible for weekly pay, education assistance, and other benefits.

Qualifications

• Entry-level position focused on customer service and merchandising.
• Ability to learn and use basic technology.
• Willingness to lift up to 50 lbs and handle physical tasks.
• Experience with pallet jacks or forklifts is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products.
• Move product from pallets or carts to the correct shelf locations.
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in back-room areas.
• Work closely with leadership to ensure areas are completed on time.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers when needed.
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.

What You’ll Do

As a Stocking Clerk, you play a critical role in keeping our store running smoothly. Your workensures shelves are fully stocked for our customers to provide an exceptional shopping experience.
