Job summary

Meijer in Fruitport, MI is seeking an entry-level Stocking Clerk to deliver friendly, customer-focused service while stocking shelves and keeping aisles tidy. You’ll work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead.

You’ll move products from pallets to shelves, pull backstock, follow safety procedures, and cooperate with leadership to complete tasks on time. No prior retail experience required; training provided; physical tasks up to 50 lbs.

What You’ll Do

As a Stocking Clerk, you play a critical role in keeping our store running smoothly. Your workensures shelves are fully stocked for our customers to provide an exceptional shopping experience.

You’ll:

Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products

Move product from pallets or carts to the correct shelf locations efficiently and accurately

Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in designated back‑room areas

Work closely with leadership to ensure assigned areas are completed on time

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers when needed

Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead

Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly
